About myself
My name is Giulio Menegotto and I was born in 2004 in Belgium in Antwerp. I have lived in Chiavari for 15 years and have attended here elementary and middle school. At the end of the 8th grade I chose to enroll in the A. D’Oria classical high school in Genoa.
I joined Outdoor Portofino – company I already knew since 2018 – in 2021. While looking for a summer job, during the winter of 2020/21 I decided to apply after seeing a job advert from Outdoor Portofino. Here I am officially part of the team!

How did you join OP?
I knew Outdoor Portofino since 2018 when I rented a kayak here for the first time. During the winter of 2020/21 I was looking for a summer job, and after seeing an OP ad, I decided to apply. In April I was selected and here I am now part of the OP Team!
What do you do in OP?
Rental at the Niasca & Safety for tours
Your greatest passions?
My main passions are history, cars / motorbikes and basketball, a sport that I have been practicing since I was 12 years old.
Your favourite place in Liguria?
My favorite place in Liguria is Parco Tigullio where I spent a lot of time playing basketball and having fun with my friends and teammates.
Three favourite dishes in your kitchen?
The three dishes I prefer the most are pizza; polenta, cheese and meat sauce; my grandmother’s breaded cutlets.
