About myself
I can say that the Marine Protected Area and the Park of Portofino are as if they were my home! I was born and raised in Camogli, graduated naval engineer at the C. Colombo Nautical Institute in Camogli. I love all the activities concerning oar and paddle: I have been canoeing since 1985, I became a FICK kayak instructor in 1991 and I have a lot of experience in nautical trekking both in the Ligurian Sea and in “travel”.
I participated as a rower in the Chiavari-Coti Chiavari (Ajaccio) crossing, and with the rowing group “U Dragun” represented Liguria at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. In OP they call me “the wise man” (I omit “old”!) thanks to my deep knowledge of the Portofino park, its history and the curiosities of the Ligurian territory. The latest achievement: I discovered that I like studying!

How did you join OP?
I joined the OP Team when we were dreaming of planning the kayak crossing to Corsica. The friendship with Sara, Alessandra and Luca was born and from there the project of founding Outdoor Portofino as a company.
What do you do in OP?
Currently I am involved in scientific projects, environmental disclosure and environmental education with children.
