Paddle along Portofino’s cliffs and coves by kayak, enjoy unique views of the village and dive into the crystal-clear waters of the protected Marine Park. A fun and easy experience, perfect for families, couples, and small groups.
Starting from Niasca, a small beach overlooking the Bay of Paraggi, we welcome you with a simple and friendly briefing. Here you’ll receive all the necessary equipment: kayak, paddle, life jacket, and during the winter season also wetsuit, water jacket, and neoprene shoes.
Once at sea, your guide will take you along the coastline of the Portofino Marine Protected Area, renowned for its emerald waters. You’ll discover hidden corners, sea caves, and small coves that can only be reached by kayak. The most striking stretch will lead you in front of the port of Portofino, with its pastel-colored houses rising from the sea like a living postcard. From there, the route continues to the Olivetta and the Portofino Lighthouse, built in 1870, whose white beam can be seen up to 16 nautical miles away.
During the summer months, you’ll have the chance to dive into the sea at the foot of the lighthouse: a refreshing break in front of a breathtaking landscape where nature and history meet. After exploring the surrounding cliffs, you’ll paddle back towards Niasca, where you can relax, take a fresh shower, and share smiles with other participants.
If you wish to extend the magic of this adventure, you can add an extra experience: one hour of guided snorkeling in the crystal-green waters of Paraggi Bay, teeming with marine life and perfect even for beginners. Or you may choose to conclude your tour with a local flavor: a relaxing aperitivo on a seaside terrace in the peaceful setting of Niasca Bay. You’ll enjoy carefully selected natural wine and fragrant Ligurian focaccia, in an authentic and natural atmosphere.
Our professional and welcoming guides will also share stories about the history, flora, and fauna of the Promontory: discover the richness of the marine ecosystem. The tour is designed as a regenerating experience—sporty yet relaxing—immersed in a truly unique natural environment.
